Day 9: I've been spinning my wheels and not getting very far for what seems like a very long time. Part of my problem is I'm not sure what's going on and I am terrible at outlining - most of my ideas seem to percolate until something comes out in the narrative that ties various things together and I had no idea that was what my brain was planning. So today I decided to grab one of the non-POV characters who knows Many Things and write from his POV for a while in the hopes that he'd tell me something. I got three and a half pages longhand before I ran out of steam and he threw a minor curveball at me that I had not considered. Going to carry on with it again tomorrow I think and see if things more germane to the section of the novel I'm supposed to be working on come up.
