On Day 12, I married the new parts of Chap. 1 to the old Chap. 1 and edited chapters 1-3. YAY!
I have just over half of the novella left to edit, and I'm hoping to get through most of that tomorrow. After reading this far through, I've realized it's a lot more coherent than I'd feared, and I can make minor adjustments to foreground the romance and shift the focus of the climax. (I hope. We'll see what tomorrow's reading and editing brings.)
