With regard to the longer Guardian fic that I hope to finish this month - now that I have a working desktop again (yay w00t!) I pulled together the bits of extra work that I had done on my cell phone along with the draft I had been adding to on my laptop, all of which I had emailed to myself as I went along, and pasted them into a continuous document today; I also read through it and added a bit more here and there. It's good to see it all in one place again!
(And then I emailed the newly-combined draft to myself again, because I am paranoid cautious.)
