Day 17: 200 somewhat uninspired words, and I have a complete draft of the Temeraire/Flight of the Heron fusion, at 7,700 words! It didn't grow that long. I also did 300 words of outlining a future story.

I'm not used to fics ending up shorter than I thought, but that happened here! The fic is just worldbuilding exposition during the day when Keith is captured in the beginning of the novel, and really has no plot beyond that...

17: canon review doesn't count as writing, I don't think, but the notes I'm taking might, and this is definitely an important precursor step to writing two of the next bits

and bc I couldn't convince myself to post comment until it was unambiguous, also a sentence added to a section where I'd marked needing more there
