Whoah, I finally got started for real on this thing I didn't know how to start! I had originally hoped to actually Write Every Day for the month, but heck, starting by Day 4 isn't so bad.

I wrote on both day 3 and day 4! 484 words on day 3, setting up characters at the start of a fic, and then 686 words on day 4, wherein the characters in another fic learn that not only did the bad things they were afraid of actually start happening, they started happening in a worse way than any of them had previously imagined. This last was in a fic where I'm trying to write a character who is irredeemably bad (which I've never been able to do before — they've always persisted in having redeeming qualities despite my best efforts). She spent the past couple of chapters looking like possibly people had been misinterpreting her actions and she was heading for a redemption arc, but if the events at the end of this latest chapter actually mean what it looks like they mean, this would blow that idea completely out of the water and put her definitively back on the villain path.
