Continued slowly along on my Chocobox! Also wrestled with title ideas for my Sundial story, which is turning out harder than usual, hmm.

I added 779 words to Piratehouse Coffeeship tonight.

This month has been a whirlwind of fanfic for me. Of the three I've completed so far this year, I think the one I'm proudest of is "Bruises," a Raylan Givens/Tim Gutterson Justified story that can be found here on AO3.

Rec: I posted Blossoms Amidst the Snow (MDZS, NHS/LWJ, 30k, M), my MDZS Big Bang fic, at the beginning of this month. I am delighted by it as a story about grief and love, and also it is such a rarepair. :)

Today I was struck by the mixed blessing of a full skeletal structure for a longfic, and I wrote up a decent chunk of that structure so that I can remember it and hopefully start writing it soon.

January 20: more notes, and another new document as I assemble everything relevant to the villain of the piece and try to pin down what he's doing in general and how this conversation I need him to have actually goes. Ofc if I could figure out his actual plans that would make fixing the back half of the novel much easier! I have vague ideas but the most definite is "not what he did in the very first draft". Maybe I need to do some freeform character sketches or something.
